Secure Archive Sharing

The iZip archive Wizard creates modern and secure archives with optional AES-256 encryption.

When sharing archives containing private or sensitive information, it is crucial to use a strong password that is not easily guessable. Even though AES-256 encryption is strong and secure, your ZIP file won't be safe if you use a short or weak password.

At iZip we recommend that you select a password of at least 14 characters long, containing both lowercase and UPPERCASE letters, numbers and symbols like #!@[].

When sending an encrypted ZIP file, do not send the password along with it - i.e do not send an email containing the password with the ZIP file attached. Arrange some other way to share this information, for example via phone call or text/instant message.

If you lose or forget your password we are unable to help you open the encrypted ZIP file.
